A Trip to the Homeland!

July 14-28th we travelled with the kids to the South Pacific. We had a family reunion to go to in Samoa for Damon's family. We spent 4 days on Oahu, 6 days in Samoa and 4 days in American Samoa. We swam with sharks, blazed our own trails through the world's largest maze and hung with the locals at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii. Samoa brought us to a world where time stands still. It is a beautiful and untouched country. We went to beaches where fish outnumbered people and coconut trees were plentiful. We snorkeled over a coral reef. Our hotel room had a private outdoor bathroom where we got to bath under the stars. American Samoa introduced us to a festival that happens only every 4 years in the Pacific Islands called the Pacific Islands Art Festival. We were introduced to islands in the South Pacific that we had never heard of. It was so fun to meet most of Damon's mom's family. The kids were great travellers and enjoyed every experience.

Welcome to the borg, Rach. You'll be glad you came.

You guys look so good. That picture you sent of Noah and Adam--Jonah has those same skinny legs...
