Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Our baby turned 5 today and we still can't believe it. We keep forgetting that she really is older than we treat her. I don't know what we are going to do when she goes off to school in September (well, I can think of a lot of things actually. A big party dance will be done when the first bell rings.) Her dad made her a CD with a bunch of her favorite songs. Now we hear Taylor Swift, Zac Efron and the music from Wicked coming from her room. So funny!

Lily had quite the day today. It started out with a pancake breakfast. It was followed by going to the gym, going to the pool, getting her nails done, picking up her girlfriends, going out to lunch, coming back, making cupcakes, having a princess fashion show, opening presents going over to another friends house topped off with eating steak and pasta with more cupcakes and ice cream. She really is more like 25. Mom is just around to do the driving and only because she can't reach the pedals. She is quite the backseat driver.

We are really glad Lily joined our family. She adds another dimension of drama that the boys just couldn't create. Damon says she is a mini-me, referring to her attitude and her ability to glare you down and sulk. I don't think I take that as a compliment, but at least she can stand her ground. We love our Lily flower. Happy Birthday #5!
